Troll 2

Last night, the movie Toll 2 was introduced to me.

This train wreck of a film is so much better when you read the Trivia behind it. But I’ll summarise the best bits here:

It came about because many of the writer’s friends became vegetarians at the same time –hence the evil, murderous, vegetarian goblins.

It has no relation to the original Toll film whatsoever, it simply hoped to ride on the minor success of it.

It has no Tolls in it at all.

The entire cast turned up thinking they would be extras and all got leading rolls – hence the appalling acting. (but really, the performances make the film the gem that it is.)

I just have to say, that this is hands down the funniest film that I have ever seen that wasn’t intended to be a comedy at all. It was describe to me beforehand as not so much a B-grade film, as an F-grade… F for fail. And to expand on that, it is an Epic Fail!

It’s definitely one to watch with a group of friends, you’ll all be laughing yourselves silly by the opening credits!

I want to say more, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise of just how shockingly bad this movie is. But having said that, well worth watching! I can see myself enjoying this again and again… naturally with sufficient time elapsing in between: time to recover.
