About Me

This is the shoe box that you decoupaged when you were nine and kept all your favourite odds and ends in including your diary and then hid it under your bed or in the bottom of your wardrobe. 

Only it's mine. And it's filled with all my thoughts about the books I read and other related things. I've covered it in the dust jackets of my favourite books, I've tried to keep it up to date with things that make me go 'Wow!'. 

Now I work for a children's publishing house in Australia which is great, because I'm forever surrounded by brilliant Children's and Young Adult books. I'm also currently doing a Masters in Children's Literature. So I mean it when I say my world is Children's Books.

I also aim to be a published Children's Author one day. Hidden in the shoe box are all my notebooks and secret scribblings, just waiting to evolve into stories and books of their own. Occasionally I'll blog about my writing too, but I like to use this blog to practice my writing, even if it's of a different style.
