Beegu is a cute little picture book about being lost and finding your place in the world, making friends and acceptance that a friend of mine introduced me to years ago.
"Beegu was not supposed to be here. She was lost."
An adorable alien looks for her parents and a place to call home, while adults disregard her at every turn. Children are the only people who accept her, and are the ones that leave a lasting impression when she is finally reunited with her parents. Read into that what you will, I just love this book!
Here's a little video of the story, turned into clay sculptures. It's not complete, and actually misses some the pages that I think are most important to the story, but it'll give you an idea anyway.
